Erin faces the sea, compelled by some force. Born and raised on the Maine coast, she has
observed its whims for two decades. She basks in the quiet, where time slows. The woodblock
printing process mimics this meditative state for her, as well as the tedious work
of carving out negative space with a knife. All to create a delicate lacework of paper
evocative of metal beaten by la mer: delicacy and strength.
