Erin Coughlin is an artist from Maine who works primarily in printmaking. She graduated from Colby College in 2023 with a BA in printmaking and environmental science. After spending time working post-graduation in Utah and Wyoming, she is now based in Portland, Maine. Her work draws from her experiences as a scientist working and living on the Maine coast and explores themes of climate change and marine litter. In her practice she focuses on giving recycled materials new life through sewing, printmaking, collage, and bookbinding.
